Freebie Friday, Fantasy Football Roster

Many people do this in the beginning of each football season, I admit I'm not one. Right before football season, a group of people will get together and pick their fantasy teams! This was a printable request from my husband. He brought them to his fantasy draft and everyone used them to pick their teams. Hopefully, if you have a fantasy draft coming up, this will help you too!

Enjoy!
If you have any suggestions, or need some type of printable, just holla!

Freebie Friday, Weekly Menu and Shopping List

Cheers to my first Freebie Friday!

People are always asking questions about our most organized way of doing things, so here is one of our biggest life improvements. A few years ago, we started weekly meal planning and it changed our lives. I'm not joking! Not only does it keep us eating healthy, but it also helps our budget.

Here are some tips:
  • Plan ahead and buy most groceries at once but some items you might need to buy the day of for freshness, such as meats and some produce.
  • Make meals that include ingredients you use often, so in the future if you make this meal again, you'll always have most of the ingredients. For example, we like to make Stuffed Italian Sausage Zucchini, we almost always have marinara sauce, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and garlic in the house. So if we decided to make this we usually only have to buy the Zucchini and the Sausage! Genius!
  • Make Meals that use the same ingredients for freshness and so nothing goes to waste. For example, we like to buy Kroger's organic rotisserie chicken. With that we will make: one meal with the dark meat and (thigh and leg) with some veggies, Chicken avocado burritos, and the left over chicken will be shredded for salads for lunch throughout the week. This not only helps us use everything, but it has helped out our budget!
  • Keep recipes handy for planning the weekly meals. I find most of my recipes from Pinterest. I print them out and keep them in a recipe book. So once a week, I can pull them out and plan according to schedules, cravings and ingredients.
  • You can never make too much food, don't be afraid to make a big deal.  About once a week for dinner we eat left overs, so nothing goes to waste. Also don't forget extra food can be eaten for a lunch or frozen for later.
  • If you are overwhelmed, don't be! Trust me, planning ahead saves so much time and money later on!

Thank you SK for believing in me, in this blog and always inspiring me!
